Halo: Series – is out now

Halo is far from the only video game adaptation to linger in development hell for years, but it may just be the most high-profile one. Both Peter Jackson and Neill Blomkamp were attached to direct back when the project was still a feature film, and even now the series counts Steven Spielberg as one of its executive producers. This series has been a long, long time coming, but the good news is that it doesn’t disappoint. Just don’t come in expecting a 1:1 adaptation of the games.
