How to Factory Reset the ASUS laptop?

Introduction:

Your business may need to reset an ASUS laptop to its factory setting for different reasons. So ASUS laptops consist of a recovery partition that includes software designed to reset the laptop to its original condition.

Method 1:  

You don’t need to log in if you are using this method to factory reset your ASUS laptop. Here is a complete step-by-step guide.

  • First of all, you need to go to your windows login screen and tap on the power icon from that screen.

  • Then tap on the restart option and hold on to the shift key on the keyboard.

 

  • When you redirect to select an option screen, click on the troubleshoot option.

 

  • Now hit the “reset your PC button”. From this, you can select to remove or keep files before window installation.

 

  • Tap on remove everything. It will remove all your apps, files, and settings from your ASUS laptop.

 

  • Ensure that you fully clean the drive if you don’t want to take any chances.

 

  • The last step is to reset the ASUS laptop by clicking the reset option. However, don’t shut down your device until the process finishes.

Method 2: 

If you want to factory reset your ASUS laptop without using a password, do follow these steps;

 

Step 1:

First of all, you need to make a disc because it will be helpful for you to remove Windows passwords. We suggest PassFab 4WinKey. After that, run and choose boot media like USB flash drive and CD. When you select the next option, the burning process of the boot disc will start with software.

 

Step 2:

Now, the next step is to insert a burnt disc into an ASUS laptop to boot windows. For doing this, you need to click on the F12 button to enter the boot menu. After that, tap on USB to reset your ASUS laptop from disc.

 

Step 3:

Now, select the Windows OS version and tap on remove account passwords. When you click the next button, the passwords will be removed. Now, log in to factory reset your ASUS laptop without using passwords.
