Ikea are working on a wireless charger that works under the Table

Wireless charging removes a cable, but replaces it with a charging base. However, Ikea is set to offer a completely hidden way of recharging your Android or iOS devices by integrating a wireless charger with your furniture.

It’s called the SJÖMÄRKE wireless charger, and Ikea describes it as doing a “magic trick” by allowing you to charge your smartphone directly on a tabletop or shelf. This is achieved by mounting the new charger underneath the surface you want to act as the charging location.
