The live-action My Hero Academia film, announced back in 2018, officially has its director. Shinsuke Nato will make his English film debut with the superhero story based on the wildly popular manga and anime franchise, THR reports.

Nato is known for his live-action adaptations of other popular and cult hit manga and anime, including Inuyashiki, I Am a Hero, 2018’s Bleach, and Netflix’s Alice in Borderland series. Nato also directed two Japanese live-action adaptations of the Death Note franchise, as well as three live-action Gantz films. Netflix’s Alice in Borderland currently sits at an admirable 83% on Rotten Tomatoes.
